Yes I am sure that it is not pinnatipartita. I have never had that species, and I have lots of ‘Peru’ scrambling around on the ground below the mature one.
Even at about six feet off the ground, the leaves had the classic look of the juvenile ‘Peru’, and were shingling on the palm tree. I now wish that I had taken pictures at that stage.
I will have to attach more ‘Peru’ to trees to get those pictures!
