Synandrospadix and Arum/Dracunculus ecology similarities

Anna - many thanks for sharing the habitat images of Synandrospadix. How interesting that it occurs in woody scrub much in the same manner as Arum and Dracunculus in the Mediterranean. Presumably the habitat offers some protection from grazing, although (as with Arum and Dracunculus) you'd have thought there can be few mammals able to deal with the toxicity of the foliage!

Hope all is well

Peter
