Bernhard,
That's a lovely species, to an amorphophallus grower anyway.
Regarding the double spadix, attached is a picture of an unidentified Anthurium which routinely produces inflorescences like this. It's the only aroid I've ever had do this, so I don't know how common or uncommon it is in general.

Christopher,
A. natolii was discovered in 2010 I guess; at least in 2010 a picture taken by a tourist in a national park near El Nido, Palawan island, Philippines caused some rumor in several forums.
Finally it was described in 2012 as an new species (Amorphophallus natolii Hett., A.Wistuba, V.B.Amoroso,M. Medecilo & C.Claudel, spec. nov.)
(Botanical Studies (2012) 53: 415-420).
Somehow it made it's way into collections and is now +/- common since it offsets easily; it's also not hard to grow.
What puzzled me was that I noticed only a very little amount or almost no pollen on my flowers.
Happy growing,
Bernhard.

That is a really cute species. Where is it from? How hard is it to grow?

early March I had two natolii with flower buds; one developed a normal inflorescence(first pics) but the second an in inflorescence with multiple spadices.
I am aware that this happens in aroids (http://www.aroid.org/gallery/oddities/) but nevertheless I was pretty surprised...
Albert, if you are around - feel free to add the pictures to the oddity collection... - if you need pics in a higher resolution just email me...
Happy blooming,
Bernhard.
