Re: [Aroid-l] amorphophallus sp nova from madagascar

There are several species of Amorphophallus in Madagasacar, all endemic and all but one (A. hildebrandtii) relatively recently described: A. ankarana Hetterscheid et al. (1999), A. antsingyensis Bogner et al. (1999), A. taurostigma Ittenbach e al (1999) & A. manglesdorfii Bogner (2003)

Having just returned from Madagascar, I'm intrigued to hear about this new species.  Any more info please?   Who found it and where?
