Miniature syngonium??

The plant in the photo attached was taken by a lady I have corresponded with in the past.  She and another aroid grower I know each purchased this at Sears as a "Miniature Syngonium".  My guess is this is only a juvenile or a overly treated tissue culture of a common Syngonium.  Does anyone know?
