Thanks everyone for advice on this. I'm pruning off the massive primary
leaves 1 a day so as not to shock them There are side branches already
starting to form and so far the chill a few nights ago in the low 50'sF
hasn't harmed this Amazonian tree. One trimmed 2 foot sapling will go in a
pot indoors, the other will be donated to the National Aquarium in
Baltimore rainforest display    http://www.aqua.org
