According to Deni Bown's Aroids page 123, A. magnificum is a "mainly
terrestrial"  species from Columbia.
I would not neccesarily take this into consideration, as to how to cultivate
this species' as opposed how you would cultivate this thing if the info was
that it was normally epiphytic. Often times species from this kind of
altitude and high rainfall/humidity regions will grow as an epiphyte in
cultivation no matter if it was from the forest floor in these areas or
perched on a tree.

In other words I would treat it like an epiphytic species even though it is
apparantly normally found on the forest floor.
