dear jeff,
there are 3 hotels i can think of, at or near the intersection of U.S. 1 and
Kendall Dr.---a Marriott, a Holiday Inn and the Ramada (already mentioned.)
that's about as close as you can get to Fairchild---about 5 min. driving.
