RE: [Aroid-l] Unknown Philodendron

Dear Steve,

The species is Philodendron atabapoense, from Venezuela and Brazil.

                                        Very best wishes,

                                                        Eduardo.

Does anyone have a suggestion as to what species this philodendron may be? The largest leaves are currently approximately 13 inches (33cm) but I'm told they get much larger. This one is definately a climber and is adding new leaves every few months. The underside of the blade is a very pale burgundy.

Thanks!
