The weather is warming, the trees are starting to leaf out, and the
daffodils are beginning to bloom and that means that this is the perfect
time to decide the direction that we want the garden to be going in for
the season.  It also means that we are starting up with the first of many
Kid's Days in the garden.  There will be face painting, seed planting, and
other kid-friendly activities.  There will also be a fire going if you
want to bring food to grill on it.

Here are the details - both the meeting and Kid's Day are in the garden on
Saturday April 9
The MEETING is at 1pm in the Garden
The KID'S DAY is going on from 11am until 4pm
Come for the Kid's Day, stay for the meeting - come for the meeting, stay
for the Kid's Day!

Directions: Courtlandt Community Garden is located on East 158th St.
between Melrose and
Courtlandt, Bronx.  Take the 2/5 to 3rd Ave-149th St. or the 4/D to
161st. St-Yankee Stadium
