New Community Garden Book - "Patchwork"

April 22, 2005

ACGA members and colleagues,

On this 35th anniversary of Earth Day, Friends of Burlington Gardens announces
the release of a new book, "Patchwork: stories of gardens and community."

Patchwork includes vignettes shared by Burlington community gardeners from a
diversity of cultural backgrounds. The first person stories are accompanied by
photographs of the gardeners in their community plots, "Editor's Journal"
entries with useful gardening links, and a resource guide for starting and
sustaining a community or neighborhood garden.

Additional information and reviewers' quotes are listed at
http://www.burlingtongardens.org/Patchwork.htm.
