RE: Help! Dealing with an ADA ramp

My sister, who is an expert on ADA issues, sent along this comment about the
access issue at the community garden in North Carolina:

North Carolina is home to the world-famous Center for
Universal Design, at NC State University. They provide training, research,
consultation, and publications on all kinds of aspects of accessibility.
Maybe they would respond to an inquiry and/or plea for help from a bunch
of grass-roots gardeners (no pun intended) who refuse to exclude anyone
from the joys of weeding and mulching! Their web site is at
