yellow jackets are wasps, not bees.
This old biologist has observed the yellow Jackets in flowers and collecting
the pollen many times. Stand near the entrance of their hives. To the side
and watch them sometimes. They could not gather pollen without being a
pollinating force and are one of the majors in bee population today.
