"Avant Gardening: Ecological Struggle In The City & The World"
Ed. by Wilson, Peter Lamborn & Weinberg, Bill
New York: Autonomedia 1999 / ISBN: 1-57027-092-9
Available from:

This handsome 169 page 7"x4.5" collection of community gardener's writings
ranges from Marxist rants, fair poetry & some excellent historical articles
on community gardening on the Lower East Side and the world. An insight into
the embattled world of some community gardens in NYC. It ran me $7.00 at a
Charas literature table at a gardening event. Well worth the read.
