RE: Plastic Wood bows

All recycled plastic picnic tables that I've ever seen have had their planks bowed downward from sun, user weight and gravity.
I hear they're making them reinforced now, but haven't any proof of that.

Subject: [cg] Plastic Wood

We are about to build a boardwalk using Trex (plastic wood).  We hear that it needs more support and is not as forgiving as wood in adjusting to heaving ground.  Anybody used the material for this use?  Dianna Fallon, New Hampshire Conservation Commission
