Hillcrest Community Garden

  • Subject: [cg] Hillcrest Community Garden

Hi Jim!

The new link for the Hillcrest Community Garden in Toronto, Ontario is
http://www.nameres.org/garden.html

NaMeRes (Native Men's Residence) took over this garden when some volunteers
left and it became too much work for the others. They've done a great job
of bringing the garden back to life and involving the men and youths who use
their shelters.

You might also want to update the website for The Stop's community garden -
www.thestop.org. There's info about how a community garden works in the
larger context of a community food centre.

Best wishes for the New Year!
