Community Food Projects Grants RFP

ACGA folks....

The Request for Proposals is out for the Community Food Security Project 
Grants through USDA and CREES. The RFP can be found at WWW.REEUSDA.GOV and it 
can be downloaded with budget forms and other needed materials. I believe the 
deadline for requests is June 9, 2000.

They are looking for collaborations between various programs in a region. 
They want projects that involve a lot of participant input, create new 
sources of production, offer that production to a diverse and underserved 
population... sound familiar? 

Community Food Security Coalition has lots of advice and suggestions for 
completing these grant applications. They are at WWW.FOODSECURITY.ORG.
