Garden group to hold work party Friday

The South Coast Community Garden Association is
inviting area residents to volunteer at a work party
Friday at the Ladybug Landing Community Garden in
downtown Coos Bay.

The garden is located near the intersection of Eighth
Street and Anderson Avenue. Volunteers plan to gather
at 9 a.m. and will start to build the frames for the
raised beds. For more information, those interested
can call Don or Renie Blom, the directors of
volunteers, at 269-7468.
