I'm writing an article on community gardens for a magazine in the Hudson Valley region of New York state. I'm trying to find out about how many community gardens/community garden organizations there are in the U.S. Also, any referrals to community gardens in this Hudson Valley region, north of New York City to Albany, that would be good for me to contact. (I've already talked with Amy Klein at the Capital District Community Gardens). And finally, any insights on how community gardens benefit their communities.
