Last Wednesday
an interview with Toby Hemenway (author of Gaia's Garden--new book on urban
permaculture) and Mary Zemach, who has a Permaculture site in
Los Alamos, New Mexico, USA, aired on National Public Radio's Morning Edition. The web page for the interview is http://www.npr.org/programs/talkingplants/features/2002/hemenway/index.html and there's a link there for those who want to hear the 8 minute broadcast. There are also pictures of Hemenway's and Zemach's
yards/gardens. The grape arbor deck looks especially inviting right now
:-). This might be fun over a home patio/deck or as a great rest area in
larger community garden plots that would allow it.
