Community Food and Nutrition Program
Fiscal Year 2003 Request for Applications Published
On July 9, 2003, the Office of Community Services (OCS), part of the
Administration for Children and Families (ACF) within the U.S. Department of
Health and Human Services (HHS), published its annual request for
competitive grant applications under the Community Food and Nutrition
Program (CFNP). 

The deadline for receipt of applications is 4:30 p.m. EDT on August 11,
2003. 

Public and private non-profit organizations are eligible to apply for CFNP
grants of up to $50,000 for one-year projects. Application details and
evaluation criteria are included in the application kit.

Application kits for the CFNP may be obtained one of several ways, the
easiest and fastest being online at the OCS website at
http://www.acf.hhs.gov/programs/ocs/kits1.htm. Once there, click on the "FY
2003 Consolidated Program Announcement," then look for CFNP. You can also
get the application kit by calling, writing, or e-mailing the OCS Operations
Center, 1815 North Fort Meyer Drive, Suite 300, Arlington, VA 22209;
