Re: community_garden digest, Vol 1 #1851 - 3 msgs

Dear sirs:

I am recently involved in the community gardens around the area where I work.
With great surprise, after 30 years of efforts not only producing foods but also nurturing the culture in the area gaining even international fame, the RICON CRIOLLO in the Bronx is facing the sad destiny of demolition.
Right now we have only 15 days to fight (the first notice ever that the garden received).  We have not been given much hope to preserve the garden.  Deseperately we are asking suggestion for our last chance!
