I suggest that you read two little books by Ruth Stout and One Straw
Revolution.  Organic, no-tll gardening is just about as productive as any
and is a lot less  work.  Stout had 7,000 people visit her to learn no-work
gardening in the 25 years she gardened. It works.
There is a video with her and about her gardening.
