I'd like to thank all of the dedicated community gardeners, Gerard Lordahl 
with Council on the Environment, Jackson & Perkins and the fabulous 
entertainers (Circle of Soul, Santos White Band, Rincon Crillo and Martin's 
Band) for helping to make the 2001 Fifth Annual Summer Solstice Celebration 
at Clinton Garden a great success. And as always, a million thanks to 
Director Edie Stone, Event Coordinator David Flanigan and the entire
fabulous 
GreenThumb staff for their generosity of time, commitment, support, plants, 
food, you name it - to this Solstice Garden party. We in the NYC Community 
Garden family are blessed to have such a dynamic group that puts us first. 
Also, a big thanks goes to the many Clinton Community gardeners who donated 
their time with a special thanks to the following CCG members, who outdid 
themselves to create this magical day: Marilyn and Jim Cleland, Faser
Hardin, 
Adam Honigman, John Keenan, Debbie Mullins, Neil Schettler and Eric Smith.
