Workshop to cover butterfly gardening

"Butterfly Gardening" is the subject of a Community Garden Workshop planned for 10 a.m.-noon Saturdayjune19 at the Robbins Park Community Garden in Cornelius.Gardening and environmental experts will show participants how to attract butterflies to their property. Cost of the program is $10. The community garden is off Interstate-77's Exit 28. To register or for details, call (704) 336-4304or check www.wipeoutwaste.com.

The program is sponsored by Cornelius Park and Recreation and by the county's Piedmont Landscaping and Naturescaping Training (PLANT) program.
