Sheriff's Deputies Evict South Central Farmers

  • Subject: [cg] Sheriff's Deputies Evict South Central Farmers
  • From: David King learninggardenmaster@yahoo.com
  • Date: Tue, 13 Jun 2006 09:34:57 -0700 (PDT)

The tragedy took a fateful turn this morning as Los
Angeles Sheriffs Deputies invaded South Central Farms
and began to evict the farmers there.

Remember this: when a politician says he's for green
space and allows this to happen on his watch even
while proposing $800 million to entice a new football
team, when he runs for governor know his word isn't
worth the electrons their printed on.

It's a sad day for community gardens everywhere...

A garden, where one may enter in and forget the whole world,
cannot be made in a week, nor a month, nor a year; it must
be planned for, waited for and loved into being.
