ENVIRONMENTAL & ARTS ORGANIZATION: EARTH CELEBRATIONS

INTERNSHIPS AVAILABLE

with Earth Celebrations, a non-profit organization dedicated to fostering
ecological awareness through the arts. Since 1991, Earth Celebrations has
been working to preserve the community gardens on the Lower East Side, and
throughout New York City through innovative arts projects, theatrical
pageants, performances, exhibitions, video programs, web-site, and art &
ecology workshops for children and adults through schools, community
centers, and gardens.

INTERNSHIP: assist with theatrical event and arts production,  conduct
community outreach and coodination of artists and community participation
in creative workshops and theatrical pageants. Manage basic organization
administration and publicity.

SKILLS needed: Good event production, organizational, and communication
skills. basic administrative and computer skills-with graphic and
web-design a plus.
