growing grass indoors

Hi Everyone, a friend of mine sent out our group question about growing
grass indoors. I know most of you are not fans of growing grass at all.
Maybe you can bounce around some ideas to her.

Subject: gardening question

OK, all you ARROW folk -- any advice on growing grass in a pot? And yes,
I mean the legal kind, some nice green grass to have indoors, like a
houseplant. I have been told it is difficult. Is this true? Any
suggestions on what kind to grow? And also are there any flowers that
grow well with grass -- I'd love to throw some poppies in there, but have
been told by same pessimistic friend that those are tough, too. I would
appreciate any contradiction or confirmation of these rumors. Thanks.
