to my knowlege there shouldn't be any problem, but the seed may remain viable for several years. Just keep weeding them out. I have not heard of anyone getting ill by simply touching or working with the plant, either, but if they become overwhelming, the smell can be a little noxious when you bruise the plants.Best of luck,
