Jeanette Abi Nadr

For those of you who know Jeanette and have been wondering about her safety,
word comes via the CFSC that she and her family got out safely before the
storm hit.

The same news about Martin Bailkey's parents.

AlterNet has a great article about organizations -- other than the Red Cross
-- that do important work and could really use your support in the weeks to
come so that they can help those devastated by Katrina.
