Dear Matt,

I hope you are well and enjoy summer time with your ferns.

In the last days I read in an old German fern book (Christ: Geographie der
Farne) and in the 3 volumes book of Schneider that Osmunda javanica is
growing as far north as Kamschatka, which is surely a cold area. Plants from
this region should be interesting for our collections. Do you know anybody
who grows this species?
