Hi all

I have moved a shortcut from the windows file "charmap.exe" (in Windows 
directory) to desktop and can call it up any time. The shortcut is labelled by 
the system as "Character map"

Here is the degree symbol from that   :

Alt 167 looks like "alt 167" when read on on my mail program  !!

I do not use html mail; text mail.
