Re: Spring is here!

It is indeed. Planted new new Iceberg standard rose in a very large pot
- no alyssum at Home Depot - so I planted two white marigolds (blooming
already) at it's feet for now. Also got my peppers from SSE and planted
them. The lime balm was bent on world domination in my lasagna bed, so I
dug both of them up first and put them in those great big pots I got
last Saturday when Jesse and I went to the pottery outlet. The spot I
picked out for the Reine des Violette rose wan't big enough, so I gave
it to Pat across the street. She thrilled and I still get to see it
every day, plus she said I retain deadheading/potpourri rights to the
petals. So that's a very good thing. And she had the perfect spot for
it!! Also gave her my extra peppers, since your have to order in
multiples of 6 from SSE. Win-win situation. I hope it doesn't sound
immodest to say I'm a real good neighbor to have if you're a gardener!
LOL
