motivated you to move from so-cal to vancouver
IJ - First it was economics, ie, retirement benefits. Real estate was
much ceaper here. next, my wife has family here & we have close friends
who moved from S Barbara here also. I love the greenery & the rain isn't
as bad many make it out to be. When the sun is out you forget those past
rain days. We have beautiful summers here. The winter is very mild with
little or no snow where we live . Considered Portland / Vancouver Metro
area. You must visit the Columbia Gorge - AWSOME. The plus side too, as a
retired nurseryman, it open up a whole new world of olants for me. I
enjoy every day when I see a new flower, etc. Your sister lives near
Salem, capitol of Ore.Quite nice down there too
