Thanks!  That does look like it.  I'll post another picture when its in full
bloom!  I don't think I'll cut it's flower stalk though- It's right near my
front door, so i can see it every day.  very interesting- and to think it
came from the grocery store!

Looks like Ornithogalum thyrsoides, not hardy up here but a great cut flower
for the florists.
