That reminds me of my exhusband who wondered why his Colorado Blue Spruce
was dying.  I went over to take a look; asked if he'd done anything near it
like overspray from roundup or something like that.  He said he'd heard
they like acid soil, so when he did some work on his cars, he poured
battery acid all around it....
