There are Crepe Myrtles that survive here. We have a few of them at the
Display Gardens. The white ones die to the ground every year but return.
There's a pink one in the patio, though, that is very tall - maybe 9 ft+.
Most regular crepe myrtles wouldn't make it here though. These were
specialty varieties from a breeding program.
