We had a Manchester terrier when I was growing up (black w/ chestnut
markings) and she used to sleep w/ her back up against the radiators
in the winter time. I mean those old steam filled clunkers that you
could cook on top of if you had too. We couldn't believe she didn't
fry herself like that. I guess that fur insulates pretty well.
