No frost here but it is clouding up and starting to rain AGAIN. That's just
wrong, it should not rain here in April, we shouldn't be seeing a drop until
maybe some small thunderstorms come through in August. And yesterday was
gorgeous. Just goes to prove my point that if it's going to be ugly weather,
it'll do it on a weekend. I'm sure it showed up a little early today because
we have tickets to a baseball game tonight.
Or maybe I prompted it by turning on the automatic sprinklers last weekend.
Or all the people getting their cars washed now that the great painted-lady
butterfly migration is over.

LOL!!! I had some lady, loaded up with some expensive perennials that
usually don't come up for a while tell me I was crazy if I thought it would
snow between now and May 15th (our average frost free date.) They are
predicting snow this weekend with temps below 30 F. Oh, well. Everything
tender I've gotten is now in pots, ready to move back in the garage as
necessary.
Blessings,
Bonnie

I have to admit that I am somewhat gleeful about the predicted
temperature drop. Kept telling DH not to put the tropical plants in the
pond this weekend, as our last frost date around here is mid May. He
didn't believe me and was planning on doing it . Needless to say, he
has now changed his plans! (I don't tell him how to take care of his
patients, and he shouldn't try to second guess the family master
gardener.)
