Re: Shirobana Spirea

I have one of those, Donna. It's one of my foundation plantings along with Weigela, Abelia and Deutzia. I have never done anything to/for it. It's a small, mounded shrub that does have blooms in three colors. I have never paid any attention to whether they start out differently or if the color changes over time like the Hibiscus mutabilis. It's really a care-free plant for me.

Subject: [CHAT] Shirobana Spirea

Anyone got any words of wisdom on this plant (Shirobana Spirea). Seems when
I went to the open house at one of the more costly garden centers Sat
morning I won this. They were having a great sale on geraniums (just the
seed type, nothing fancy, .28 each) so I stopped in to grab a few of the
specials.... They were having some door prizes so I filled out a ticket,
cause I thought that was the only way to get one of those proven winner
books they were giving out... hum, got the book and a shrub... :)

So does this thing actually have a few different color blooms on it as
suggested by the Monrovia tag?

Donna
Who was shocked they actually called and told me I won!
