I just heard that on the news. Do you think it has to do with immigrant populations who lack good pediatric care? It's probably some horrible drug resistant strain -- like the TB in Florida. Good grief!

And, for some reason Iowa also has a mumps epidemic (250 cases) going on
right now- what's up with that?  You all stay away from anyone who isn't
feeling well OK!  Even people who were immunized are getting it!

Actually, Donna, there are lots of that age going from our area. I
believe they are saying Iowa has one of the highest numbers seeing active duty.
Some have been there a couple times which was preceeded by Desert Storm duty.
