Re: hickory


The only problem I can think of is that the hickory takes so much water there's little left for any plants. Hickories are related to pecan trees, and I've got three of those. The roots make it hard to plant much underneath them, but I do have hostas and ferns there. Hostas seem to really like being under pecans. I'd have to look in my neighbor's yard to see what's growing under the hickory.
