I have to admit it took me years to get a red plant. Now I use Monarda 'Jacob Kline' and Geum sparingly, and I like both of them. I started out using mostly purple, blue, white and all shades of pink. Then I was given some great orange Cosmos, and they looked so good with the blues and purples that I planted Coreopsis and Stella D'Oros. The rest is history :-).

about me? For many years I couldn't use yellow but after attending so many
'color' classes I have grown to love yellow but the softer values.
If my husband selected plants they would all have red blooms.
