practical science for gardeners


I just read an article in our Virginia MG newsletter where the book "Practical science for gardeners" by Mary M. Pratt is recommended.
Have any of you read it? And what is your opinion?

Pretty. White peacocks [don't know about albinos] are fairly common in India. Shahjahan kept a flock of them at Taj Mahal, I believe.
