Seems like I tried that some years ago...but don't remember if it was a good
year or not. The 'maters get BER to a varying degree every year. But I have
LOTS of eggshells and it will be easy. I'll do it.

Cyndi, Haven't had any problems with blossom end rot on tomatoes since I 
started putting a handful of crushed eggshells in the bottom of the planting
hole. 
(We've been doing the hi-protein, lo-carb thing the last couple years so
I've 
got a lot of shells!) Kathy
