So you can see why I resent the adjective "Advanced". I didn't turn in my ed hours so I wouldn't get the word put on my new badge. I just wanted to be "Master Gardener", even though I, too, am no Master. But with reorganization by the state, I had to report the ed hours or lose my membership. I think AMG just implies a whole lot more than I am, but it's on my badge now.

This is the step we do not have in Iowa. The label 'MG' does cover a big
range of abilities & knowledge as you stated Kitty. The word Master is not the
best description. I would rank in the top percentage group of our 500
member group but I certainly am not a Master.
