Re: jade plant- advice needed

Theresa, I had a 3' jade plant in Berkeley many years ago that went thru a freeze similar to what we had this year. The new areas turning mushy eventually stopped. I just kept cutting them off. The plant looked scruffy for a couple years but later you couldn't tell anything had happened.

Hmm- didn't think of using a fungicide, since I don't have any on hand. Is there a common one you'd recommend? I plan on running over to HD this am anyway.

I've cut it back several times to remove mushy stems,and parts seem to be fine now, both other parts seem to be still mushy and rotting back even further along the stems. Any advice on what to do to stop this process before it gets all the way to the main trunk and kills it?
