RE: Earthquake

So did you know right away what it was? I imagine it would be pretty
disconcerting to someone who hasn't been through it before.
Been a while since we've had one here...a couple years I think since I
felt even a little one. In the 1994 big quake I never even managed to
get out of bed before it was over...but husband bolted out of bed and
was out the door in only seconds, I was still groping around for my
glasses when the shaking stopped.

Evidently, the initial reports were 5.5, but upon further study, it
was then downgraded to 5.2!
