Are you there yet? So glad to hear about Squinty-I know that's a relief for you and the trip sounds neat, although the time you're making is amazing. Too bad you didn't get to stop and see some sights, although I know you're probably ready to "be there" I hate road trips, I'm such a homebody at heart. Glad you've made it safe and let us know you're OK when you can.

Wounderful news about Squinty!!!!  For two Mays, I drove with my daughter
who was attending Claremont McKenna.  Everything seemed in bloom at that
time...every rest stop was in its glory.  Since you are so near, you might
be able to get a couple of photos.

I am making good time; I'm in Grant's Pass, Oregon, and it's only 1 PM.

But
since I got on the road at 3 AM, I decided to knock off early. That leaves 
only 200+ miles for tomorrow morning.
