will get to that...and there is always that blasted weeding to do...
Donna, have you tried preen? It does work. You'd need to apply twice, 10
weeks apart, but it is so easy. If you don't like the look of the little
yellow granuals, just toss a bit of mulch over it.

I tried to overwinter them inside a long time ago... about March they died.
:(
What I did find is reasonable plugs for common annuals on ebay tho. This
year
I am not doing any so if figures. Between my moms surgeries/recovery time
and
all that needs to be done at home and work, figured I wouldn't have time
to
water them. I really need some time to restructure the gardens, so maybe
I
will get to that...and there is always that blasted weeding to do...
Good luck with your surgery Daryl, I hope and pray it will go easy for
you.
Have someone in the family drop us a message on how you are doing!

Sorry, they're not hardy for me either. I sometimes will buy 1 if the
water
is getting icky, but otherwise I just make do with parrot feather. Parrot
feather drops to the bottom of the pond in the winter, then comes up when
the
weather warms.

Geesh.... everything is outrageous this year. I went eBay shopping for
water
hyacinth and even that is nuts! Yes, some of my pond friends get
together
and
buy that way to save money. Last year we bought 200 lot to split between
all
of us.
Any of you southerners got some you need to get rid of? Make me an
offer.....
LOL!
